July 11, 2017 - Greetings from my new home of NW Florida. My career w/ GE took my young family from Wichita to Jacksonville, FL in Feb 1989. I raised my family in east JAX and my son now lives in central FL, and teaches HS Football at Bartow HS & p/t Publix Grocery Corp. I am a patient grandparent in waiting these days. After Viet Nam,college,  & writing code at BCS til 1981, I was 35 when Jeff was born.  We lost his Mom several years back. He has put 4 students from tough inner city, single parent lives into college scholarships so he would be the 1st to say he's found his passion working the lifting and conditioning camps thru his school. We're both big body people, always been tall and strong. Im blessed with good health and retired last year. I sold my house of 28 years by Atlantic Beach in JAX. It took the year to prep but was content to get the appraised after alot of effort to get there. Almost tripled my money over 28 years there.  So being an empty nester I thought to enjoy ME time.  I moved near Destin Florida and really enjoy the life here. I live 1 mile from the shoreline of the gulf of Mexico. Summer vacationers galore this time of year. The autunm, winter, and early Spring are simply marvelous. My daydream, house become a VRBO and rent to vacations March - Sept.  Live here winters, travel USA and abroad for summers while young enough to enjoy it. I have found a happy place to stay here in where we jokingly call, LA. I hope to put down roots (thats Lower Ala BAMA) Great fishing fresh & salt, golf, tennis, and more. I considered this year and having read my friend Al C's letter makes me a wee bit homesick. My prayers are with you Albert my friend since the asphalt gym classes at Coleman. You, me, Joe Moyer, Frank M, & Kent Cooper watching Larry Dennis dunk a basketball in the 8th grade in augh....  Im still in touch with Debra Watson from SE HS 72 class and in 5 yrs I hope to visit our falcon reunion and crash the SE reunion party.   :0)   Why not....   So ya made it this far. Please take this next request serious. Your efforts are requested by a person who shares your memories.  Would you please take a few momennts and pray for the leadership of this country. They and we will all face issues, problems, and decisions that will effect generations of Americians.  We grew up in the 60's and nevew do I remember such division between race, religions, class, and creed. Prayer is a working tool each of us can use in our lives. And theres no time like the present...   And Al, your in mine. I know your beliefs and I will continue this conversation with you someday.  Best Wishes,  jjb

July 2017 will be my 30th year in New Jersey.   I am retired from Merck pharmaceutical research after a long career as a scientist in Kansas, Massachusetts, Texas, and New Jersey.  I particularly loved living in southeastern MA and on Cape Cod.  Now, in NJ, I am an elder at a historical Presbyterian church that started in 1730.  I just spent 9 days in Newton, KS in March, 2017, when my mother died, so I'm probably not coming back there for the 45th.  A typical life event for me was when Hurricane Sandy struck New Jersey while I was in Wichita for the 40th and I had a hard time getting home.        I love reading how all of your lives have unfolded and wish that more of you would tell your life stories.  We are a special and accomplished group of people.

Can't believe it has been 45 years since we graduated.  Time has flown by way too fast.  It won't be too long most of us will retire, which I am looking forward to.  I hope to attend the reunion this year. I live in the Tulsa metro area. I have lived here about 15 years. I still go to Wichita monthly, I have grandchildren there. Looking forward to seeing everyone this summer.

Greetings to ALL from Kechi and Kisler schools.  I would have been with you for the Class of '72 but the family moved to California in 1967.  I am still in Southern California.  I have visited Wichita a few times over the years and have seen George Harpool, Tom Jabara, and Britt Elving during my visits.  I also see that the house I lived in on Hillside is long gone.  Oh well.
If anyone wants to send an email, I will do my best to answer.  Take care.
