Unfortunately, I haven't been able to attend a reunion yet...but will do my best to attend this year...can't believe it's been 40 years.  I worked for Mobil in Augusta, Kansas for 9 years mostly in Human Resources and transferred to Beaumont, Texas when the Augusta Refinery shut down in 1983. I worked in Human Resources and then as Public & Government Affairs Asst. for over 20 years at the ExxonMobil Beaumont Refinery.  I retired in 2011 after 36 years with the company and very much love retirement. I'm married to Dan who is orginally from North Carolina.  We have 2 sons, 2 daughter and 4 granddaughters. My mother still lives in Wichita so I'm there all the time.  Just saw my photo and one of my granddaughter could not believe it was me...lol....well enough about me...hope to see you all soon!

Business Owner Film Fleet.com Married 2
Whow! 35 years sure went fast! I've been in Austin, Texas since 1980 with my wife "Sissy" of 32 years and 2 wonderful daughters, even astep son. I've been blessed with 5 grandchildren and a spoiled dog "Wylie".  Shortly after arriving in Austin I fell in to film production and have work the last 23 years as a free lance transportation coordintor for feature films in various parts of the country. In my sparetime I"ve built 5 transportation based companies to service the film and televison production. My youngest daughter "Shelly" is our VP of Operations for all companies, Wylie is chairman of the board and together they run everything. They let me act like I'm in charge somedays mostly I get in the way, since I seem do to things OLD School.

I live under the same rules I've always had.

Life is not a journey to the grave with intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, throughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming , "WOW, what a ride!!"

Look forward to seeing and toasting many old friends and meeting new friends, see you in September.

35 years!!!! I'm still in Wichita...actually, I live across the street from where I grew up in Bel Aire, so I have not made it very far. That makes it easy to care for my elderly parents. I teach first grade for USD 259 and I have three great kids of my own. My oldest made me a grandmother in November. That's a lot of fun. Send Lucy a MessageSend Lucy a Message

Marriage and Family Therapist www.brookeseager.com Married 1
2012: Big changes for us: After years of hospitals and doctors, we lost Jessica in 2010; our son is (finally) getting married; and I have gone back to work as a marriage and family therapist. Having fun with old friends doing reunion-planning!

2007: After finishing my masters degree, I worked as a therapist for several years, then started group homes for people with disabilities. Right now, I divide my time between our real estate office, teaching a ladies' Bible study, and advocating and caring for our medically-fragile daughter.  Ken and I (married 30 years) look forward every summer to meeting our son (Wharton School of Business 2000) in the mountains and bicycling all over Summit County.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

Raoul Stitt
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Married
I spent the years from age 18 through 30 in rock and roll in many occupations. I was a drummer, roadie, lighting technician, lighting director, stage manager, record store assistant manager, etc., etc., etc. When I turned 30, I decided I didn't want to be old and still trying to do this for a living. I started college at 30 then went to law school and I've been working as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney here in Jackson County, Missouri, ever since. Send Raoul a MessageSend Raoul a Message

2012 - How quickly 5 years pass!
I'm still married to Ford - going on 37 years.  We still live in the same home - going on 25 years.  Our 2 daughters live in Denver and I try to get out there 3-4 times a year.
I'm not doing much Nursing.  I keep out of trouble by volunteering and working part-time at Coldwater Creek.  In between that I take an annual trip to New York City, visit my parents in Tucson, and my sister in Albuquerque.  My frequent flyer miles are beginning to add up!
I'm looking forward to catching up with my fellow Falcons in October.
See you then!

It is now 2016. We built a house across the street and moved in almost 3 years ago. This house will be more "user friendly" for us as we mature. (I'm not ready to admit to "old age", yet!)
Our daughters still live in the Denver area so we are quite familiar with the drive on I-70 across Kansas. I am now officially retired and I make the drive back and forth a few times a year. Ford is still working and doesn't get there as often as I do.
Ford and I will celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary in December. We are very thankful to still have good health.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2017!

Soon will be re-inventing my work life; plan to retire from full time teaching May '09!  Part time real estate work sometimes helps cover yearly license expenses.  Social life revolves around toting my mom places, finding stuff to do w/gal friends, and occasional dates.  Creative projects are still my passion.  Kids on their own...son Drew is a Boeing Seattle engineer, daughter Dana is student teaching in Manhattan, KS; she'll graduate Dec '07.  Their KSU years went fast!  Overall, can't complain much; health OK and every now and then some new discovery renews my faith in future possibilities! Suzanne Thorp
October 04, 1954 Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Married 3
I seem to remember from Psych 101 that our developmental task at this stage of life is to reminisce, and what better place to do that than at our 45th high school reunion. I didn't think I would get to come this year but now it looks like I might, and even if I don't, I find I really enjoy reading what everybody has been doing with their lives.

So, here are the highlights of mine.  Randy and I got married in July of 1974 and after 10 years and the loss of two of our children, we realized that we had grown up from the children we were when we married, to adults that had little in common and we divorced. Randy and I did have one very successful project together and that is Devon, our fabuously talented 37 yr old rock musician son. He is brilliant (plays a mean bass guitar, and actually anything with strings) and both produces albums for other bands and plays in his own. Check out his band, "Fury Things" out of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

I met my husband Ron (Doc) during my undergraduate years, while volunteering at his women's clinic in Boulder.  He was the devastatingly gorgeous young doctor, and I was smitten. We will celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary during the reunion on Sunday the 16th.  Doc and I had a private practice together for 24 years, until his retirement (he has 10 years on me) in 2014.

I still have a very busy practice as a travelling clinician for Planned Parenthood. I cover clinics in New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming. I live in a little log cabin on three acres, at 9000 feet of altitude about an hour west of Denver in the mountains. No matter how stressful my assignment or how long I have been gone from home, I always feel a tremendous peace when driving down my road. I smell the pine, look at the little lake off my deck, feel the quiet and always with a bit of surprise, realize that I can't see or hear another human being from my land.  I share my land with black bear, bobcats, skunks, moose, bunnies, chipmunks, elk, deer, mountain lions, oh and 5 fur children and Doc.  A pretty good life!

I really hope I do get to come to the reunion as I had a wonderful time 5 years ago and none of us will be here forever.  If not, would love to hear from old friends any time!
